Cubs Blow It

With a chance to enter a tie for first in the NL Central on the line, the Cubs allowed a 9-5 6th inning lead to get away from them, as they lost to St. Louis 10-9. Two of the runs against were unearned as the Cubs played sloppy defense all game long. They finished with 3 errors. The bright spot of the game was a 6 run 6th inning, which they followed up by allowing 4 Cardinals runs in the bottom half of the 6th.
