NC

I'm not working air traffic in Toledo right now, and I'm loving it. I just wrapped up 2 1/2 days at the beach at the North Carolina Outer Banks. Thursday and Friday were rainy and nasty...the temp might have reached 60 for a couple minutes between those days...it was mostly in the upper-50s. Yesterday was far better - about 65-70 and sunny. Still not perfect beach weather by any means, but I had a great time...proving a nasty day at OBX is still better than 95% of nice days at home.

At Cape Hatteras National Seashore, when you drive to the beach, you really drive to the beach! (provided you have a 4x4)

Right now I'm in Asheville, NC - in the mountains. Tomorrow I'll be traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountain National Park, which should create many more great photo opportunities.
