Jeep Bracket Version 2.1

The new, improved version of my Jeep audio bracket is complete and installed. My Dad made one for his Jeep to hold his garage door opener and cell phone, and this past week we made a similar one for mine to hold my XM satellite radio and either my iPod or scanner. It's enhanced from my previous version in that it slides under the top of the dash and is held by a cable to the base of the dash, making it pretty much immovable. Also it's a more aesthetically pleasing flat black.

It works like a charm. It looks like it's meant to be there...important since the Jeep Liberty's interior is notorious for not being friendly toward third-party accessories. All that's left to be done is the installation of a window-mounted external antenna for the scanner.

Do you have anymore pics on making that bracket? I'm looking to do something similar for my ipod and sirius radio.

Thanks,
