Well, I got certified on radar today. It's kind of a strange feeling, as the weight of the responsibility tempers the excitement a little bit. But it is nice to get the pay raise and the added measure of job security. In many ways, this is the first day of the rest of my career.
There's a lot of people I need to thank for their help in reaching this point. Mostly to my coworkers for all they've done, especially to my primary and secondary trainers over the past two years: Neven, AJ, Micah, Mark, and Jeff. Thanks guys! Thanks also to my supervisor, Roger, for signing all the appropriate paperwork. :-D
Lots of thanks goes out to my good buddy TSgt Tony Vining, too, for helping me get into this crazy business back many years ago. Good 'ol Post 2868 did so much to help shape my future...I can't thank everyone involved in that program enough.

Just reading through some old blogs and came across this one again. You list 5 trainers......None of them died of heart attacks, did they?
Just wonderin? :-D
TV
No heart attacks, but toward the end of my training, UPS was delivering Tums by the crate. So besides the heartburn, and one unverified report of SARS, everyone was fine.
:-D
