Political Blogging

From what I've been able to gather since the Democratic Convention began, a lot of bloggers are out there covering this thing wire to wire. I'm not one of them. People who know me well know that I'm big into politics, and have been for most of my life...they're probably wondering why I'm ignoring this big event. Simply, I already know what they're going to say. There's no news being broken here, and if there happens to be something unusual occur, I'll pick it up on the postmordem analysis shows after the fact. I know full well what both parties stand for, and I know which one I agree with most of the time, and which one I disagree with most of the time. That's good enough for me.

Now, will I pay more attention to the upcoming Republican Convention? Probably. After all, being a conservative, I do have some interest in seeing the guys I generally agree with speak in prime time. It's not a big deal, though. Personally, I would like to see the conventions actually matter again, with nominations going down to the wire...with the tightly-controlled primaries, though, I doubt if we'll see that again soon.

You'll catch the "post mordem analysis" or the Fox News channels Bias review? I am sure you only watch Fox News beings that they are a Republican news channel.

The last election didn't go down to the wire? I would say losing the "majority vote" and winning the election is pretty much going down to the wire. Especially with all the controversy in FL.

Umm...I spoke of nominations going down to the wire. The nomination is when a particular party selects it's candidate for the general election. I said nothing about the general election.
