News reports today said that we came very close today to taking out al Qaeda's front man in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. It is said that al-Zarqawi is the leader of those who are carrying out the car bombings that seem to hit Iraq every other day or so, and also the kidnappings and beheadings that have been occuring in Iraq.
Today's news is both good and bad: bad of course because he was able to escape, but good in that a.) he might have been injured, and b.) we appear to be hot on his trail, just like we were with Saddam in the days and weeks before we yanked his worthless rear out of a hole in the ground.
