Trip to Maumee Bay

Yesterday I had to go east of the river to pick up a FedEx package, so I figured since I was over in that area, I'd might as well go to the beach over at Maumee Bay State Park and also check out the new Veterans Glass City Skyway bridge just east of downtown Toledo.

The wind was very strong out of the north, excellent conditions for windsurfing

I crossed the new bridge on the way home from the lake, but didn't get any pictures. It is a very nice looking bridge, especially from afar. I look forward to seeing it all lit up at night sometime.
