When I got home from work tonight I had a present on the doorstep from Amazon.com: The Steve Yzerman biography and a huge four double-sided DVD set called Celebration of Champions, which chronicles the Red Wings three modern championship years, and also has 5 complete games, which are all popular games as chosen by fans.
One of the complete games is the March 26, 1997 brawl game vs. the Colorado Avalanche. It's amazing, but watching this game makes it seem like this all happened yesterday. It's so natural seeing Fedorov, Konstantinov, Kozlov, Vernon, and the rest of the guys from the 97 Cup team skating around in Red Wings unis...same with seeing guys like Deadmarsh, Lemieux, and Roy in the evil burgundy and blue...although it's been almost 10 years now.
This DVD set is a treasure!
