A Visit to the U

Wow, what a busy week this has been! Not much time to do things other than work and sleep, and especially not much time to blog. On Monday 8/2, I went back to Purdue for the first time since I graduated. A lot has changed...there are new buildings and lots of ongoing construction. I've uploaded some of the pictures I took, and they're linked in the title.

It was sort of a funny feeling being back there. I really enjoyed my time down there, and it brought back tons of memories. When I was hired into the FAA, I was offered 7 ATC facilities to choose from, including the Purdue/Lafayette Tower. I must say it was tempting, but being a Level 5 non-radar facility, it wouldn't have been a good choice. Still, it was a lot of fun going back for a day.
